After a night partying at St. Maarten I was asked by 5 corporate charter passengers to take them to Hewanorra Intl near Vieux Fort Quarter, on Saint Lucia. Looks like there’s still thunderstorms in the area of Sint Maarten which may delay take-off a bit. Saint Lucia has 17 knot winds from the east, partly cloudy skies and 30C.
Pissing with rain on departure
Blue skies on approach though
Right on the glideslope
Parked at the terminal
The TLPL scenery is freeware but there’s something seriously wonky with it. I kissed the runway on touchdown but it was detected as a crash. Even just placing the aircraft on the apron or the runway through the menu would result in a crash. So: it looks great (especially on approach) but it can only be used with crash detection turned off.
Made about $2000 on this flight.
