After spending a very enjoyable time in Marathon in the Florida Keys, I flew to Siguanea Airport on Isla de la Juventud in Cuba. This island apparently was part of the US until a treaty on it was signed in 1904, which was ratified swiftly by the US senate (it only took them 21 years to do it). Something went wrong with my camera along the way, so there’s no pictures of the flight, other than the one below.
Loading of passengers at Marathon
Made about $1000 on the flight. Next one planned flight has cargo for Guantanomo Bay.
